CRITERIA FOR NOMINATION
Coaching Matters exists to honor the efforts of
dedicated coaches and reward students who pursue coaching or
teaching in order to enrich the lives of young people.
Coaches and students selected to receive the annual awards are
nominated for the Varsity Gold Coaching Matters Awards and
Scholarships and must meet certain criteria. Before you
nominate someone or apply for an award, please read the following
requirements carefully. |

- Minimum of five (5) years working with Varsity Gold
fundraisers
- Varsity Gold representative letter of recommendation
- One parent letter of recommendation
- One administrative letter of recommendation
- Proven leadership on and off the field
- Essay submission from coach

- Varsity Gold fundraising participant
- Recommendation from coach
- Minimum of 3.0 GPA
- Written essay on why he/she wants to teach or coach

The Coaching Matters Advisory Board, made up of Varsity Gold
coaches and representatives, will select the winners. |
